Off-Road Training

Hands-on training will break down the fundamentals of off-road driving in detail; modulate throttle inputs and braking while driving in adverse conditions, driver line of sight, steering feel and control, general vehicle placement, tire location and vehicle dynamics explanations, recovery with Hi Lift jack, straps and winching, traction control systems vs. differential lockers and the do’s and don’ts of staying on the trail.

Joe knows what it takes to teach you how to negotiate off-road terrain and keep your vehicle and your family enjoying the freedom of being on the trails and exploring the outdoors. As a former Toyota Trail Team’s instructor, Joe will show you exactly how to use your personal rig or you can drive one of JTGrey’s 3 training FJ Cruiser vehicles that are available. Use of JTGrey vehicle’s available for no added cost.

Non JTGREY Vehicle Requirements

If you decide to use your own rig no problem! We do however require a few items before we hit the trail.

• Frame mounted tow points
• Radio communication  (CB) handheld OK
•  Full spare tire
•  The ability to listen and learn

Rates

(1) full day of training = $225.00 per person 6 person minimum
Includes 3 FJ Cruiser training vehicles

Private one-on-one training $800 per day
Joe can come to you and train you with your vehicle at your location
(outside Phoenix area)
